Pilkington NSG GroupToledo, Ohio – Karen Shulman, owner of loyalty and change management consulting firm, Hands-On Consulting, Inc., has been retained as a Human Resources contract employee for Pilkington/NSG Group.

Karen will be providing assistance to Pilkington/NSG’s Human Resource function in such areas as training, recruiting, employee retention, enhancing the company culture, and job satisfaction. A key focus at the commencement of this engagement is assisting Pilkington/NSG with ways to close the gap on generational differences.

“Given the current state of trying to manage the challenges of an intergenerational workforce, starting a mentoring program might make sense,” comments Karen Shulman, owner of Hands-On Consulting, Inc. “Not only does a mentoring program show newcomers the ins and outs of the organization, but it can also enhance teamwork, improve a company’s ability to recruit and retain talented employees, and increase personal accountability, leadership and coaching skills,” she continued.
